CVES operates a regional Commissary Kitchen — a centralized food production and distribution hub for participating school districts. Located in CVES's new CTE Center, the facility features commercial-grade cold storage and production space to support bulk purchasing and efficient processing of fresh, local foods. It centralizes procurement, preparation, and distribution, prioritizing New York State–grown ingredients and partnerships with area farms. By consolidating these functions, districts benefit from lower costs, greater consistency, and relief from ongoing food service staffing challenges.
